Gerald Stern papers, 1920s-2007.

The Gerald Stern Papers consist of manuscripts of his poems, essays, drawings, etc. and associated material, voluminous correspondence, publications in which his works appeared, photographs, and audio and/or video recordings of many of his readings, lectures and interviews. It is a valuable resource in understanding Stern's creative process, influences in his life, and his impact on national culture. The collection covers Stern's life from his early years through his writing and teaching career, and contains papers, notebooks, newspaper clippings, magazines, periodicals, anthologies, audiocassettes, videocassettes, reel to reel tapes, photographs, slides, and photographic negatives.
